Applications for the 2021-22 cohort
are due February 18th, 2021
The Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences program is a Master of Arts Degree housed within the Graduate School of Arts and Science (GSAS). As such, applicants are beholden to all of the school's admissions policies and procedures, which you can read in full HERE.
Application materials include:
- Transcripts of all previous post-secondary education
- Statement of purpose
- Three letters of recommendation
- GRE or GMAT scores (NOTE: Due to COVID-related complications, the GRE/GMAT requirement is waived during the 2021-22 application cycle. Valid GRE and GMAT scores will still be evaluated if submitted.)
- TOEFL/IELTS scores if applicable. See the full GSAS English Language Proficiency policy HERE. If you beleive you qualify for a waiver, contact <email@example.com>
NOTE: You will see an option to upload a supplemental writing sample within the application. This portion is NOT required but you may use it to include any additional content or information that you feel strengthens your candidacy.
All application materials must be submitted electronically to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Please see their website for more information on the application process. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions pertaining to the receipt of materials.
We strongly encourage applicants to submit materials at the earliest date possible as the admissions committee will be processing a high volume of materials. However, our admissions are NOT rolling; all applications submitted by the deadline are given the same consideration. We also do not penalize applicants for materials that are submitted by the deadline but do not reach the department by that date (i.e. standardized test scores and letters of recommendation that may take a while to deliver.)
